A Burning Passion...

Nothing changes until people get passionate about a cause!

It’s true!  And if you want to stop reading right now and jump to the conclusion, here it is: Start Living Your Dream!

I am so tired of people talking about what they “hope” to do. Phrases like:  “I hope so…” or “I hope I can…” or “I sure hope this all works out…” drive me up the wall.  And with reason!

Unrealized  Hope is the Entrepreneur’s Poison…

It paralyzed the soul, cripples the body, and weakens the mind to a terminal state of worthlessness.

You have to really understand and deeply believe that no one else cares as deeply about your mission as you do. We want to care (sometimes)…

BUT, we’re all to busy to really care.  And most of those around us don’t have the emotional bandwidth to care about “your thing” and “our thing”.  And that means “our thing” wins.

It’s like the speech class where your teacher first told you that the crowd only hears 50% of your volume.  The stage whisper is really like a “mini-yell”.

That means you have to operate at 200% for the world to hear you at a normal level.

Is that even possible?

I believe it is possible.  We all know it and appreciate it when we see it.  But it is rarely seen.

It requires a level of obsession and passion that is rarely demonstrated.  It’s almost unsafe — and certainly emotionally risky.  The results, however, are unparalleled.  Nothing can replace the inhibition of having an “extreme mission”.

It’s hard unbelievably brutal and most people really just want easy. It takes:

• The courage to shout into the universe when no one is listening….
• The fight to press the battle when the odds are clearly overwhelming….
• The urgency to perform when no is watching or caring….

BUT… If you can do those things consistently, then you have the passion that turns HOPE and FEAR into the realization of a dream – the obsession that pushes through pain, politics, pettiness, and peer pressure to the destiny of WINNING!
