Why Things Fall Apart.

“Because they do.”

That’s why things go wrong.

Sometimes it’s really that simple. Things go wrong.

It doesn’t mean you aren’t the smartest guy in the room.

It doesn’t mean you haven’t worked like a maniac to make things work.

Things just fall apart.

You might want to accept that.  You might not even want to believe that.

But at the end of the day you have to accept it.

You have to get back up, dust yourself off, and get back into the game.

The choice you have is really a profoundly simple one.

You can put things back together piece-by-piece or whine about how the pieces are on the floor.

Things just fall apart.

Accept it.  Fight it. Fix it.

Be humble enough to understand what is outside your control.  Be confident enough to never stop trying to make it work.

Cry when it’s too tough. Fight when you’re tired.

Believe in you.  Never stop trying.

You can make a difference. Even when things seem like they’re upside down.

And, truthfully, “falling apart’ is natural — we suffer when we resist the nature of life, which is change. Embrace change, which includes “falling apart”, and USE IT to create something new!
