Will They Miss You When You’re Gone?

You don’t know the answer to that because you’re still here.

And what you’re creating isn’t finished yet.

It’s incomplete.

And frankly, the question you are asking isn’t all that important any ways.

You’re here and they’re here and the opportunity to be amazing is still here.

So go do what you know you need to do.

Lead.  Live. Love.

And stop wondering about your legacy or what people will say behind your back.

That’s just a waste of your time.  A distraction.  It’s you being selfish when you need to stay focused, ready to conquer.

Tomorrow isn’t guaranteed.

All you have is right now.  Right here.

What are you going to do about it?

Every organisation should have a continuity plan, but sadly very few do. People can leave your organisation for any number of reasons, be they a career move, retirement or poor health. Being able to survive when they depart is critical.

I agree with you, Adi. I was speaking more rhetorically, but you make an amazing point…

    You should ask this question.
If they get scared, then you are valuable.
If they laugh you off, then you are dead man walking.
    Your move.
It is the only question I think that matters. Are you going to dare ask this?
The person who used this so well to his advantage was Robert Moses.
