Credo Of The Conqueror.

Did you think it was going to be easy?  Did you think you were going to walk away untouched, unhurt, unblemished by the battle.

Your mission isn’t an easy one.  No one promised you that life would be fair or reasonable.  That you would “catch or break” or “get lucky”.

This isn’t a fairy tale.  Sometimes your village gets burned.  Your friends get wounded.  What is precious get’s ripped from your hands.

It’s a battle.  It’s bloody.  And you are in the middle of it.

So stand up.  Stand up.  Stand up.

Rise to meet the challenge like the Spartans of old.  Men who relished the conquest.  Men who defied the odds and stood 300 of them strong against the army of the Persians that numbered into the millions.  Each man made a difference.

So too can you.

But not as a victim.  As a conqueror.  As a warrior.

You fight because failure isn’t an option you want to consider.  It isn’t an outcome you can tolerate.

What you want to achieve is unquenchable, unstoppable, unassailable.

You aren’t perfect, but you don’t stop moving forward.

The conqueror doesn’t stand at the back of the crowd.  He’s up front leading.  Fighting. Pushing the limits of conquest.  Creating new paths.

That’s your mission right now. To conquer.

We can attach labels to business like sales or marketing, leadership and business development. But the mission is still conquest.  At the core, it’s primal.

You may not have a sword and a spear and torch the village you just left, but it’s no less violent.  No less banal.

And until you get that - until you embrace the conquest - you’ll never truly achieve the success you think you deserve.

Rise up.  Stand up.  Move up.

Conquer.
