Stop, Drop, And Run.
Avoid negative people .
Your life depends upon it. Having a good life, that is.
Negative people will rob you of your dreams.
By the time you’re done listening to what they have to say to you you’ll think but your best chance survival is digging out a cave in the godforsaken desert hoping against hope what someone doesn’t have an agenda to make your life miserable.
But just because they’re miserable doesn’t mean you should be too.
There is no need to argue with them, to reason, beg, inspire, contend, convince, justify, enlighten, or otherwise persuade negative people in their quest for misery.
They can’t be cheered up. Because they don’t want to be cheered up.
They don’t want to be inspired, helped, or motivated. They don’t want logic, smiles, or better options.
Like parasites, negative people gain strength when they weaken those around them.
And if you’re the one next to them, you can bet that you’re the victim. Not them.
And that’s dangerous for you. Life threatening, in fact.
Because the goal of negative people isn’t to be successful or to change the world.
- It is not to be a better person or to invest in the happiness of others.
- It’s not to lead, be courageous, breakdown barriers, or stand for something.
The goal of negative people is simply to destroy and maim all those within earshot of their sniveling critiques.
Like a suicide bomber on a bad mission, their only concern is the destruction of those around them — even at the cost of their own life and happiness.
And that’s not something you can reason with.
You don’t have the capacity to change them. You can’t force people to want more for themselves.
And so if you’re smart, you will go out of your way to avoid these people. You’ll make it a religion to ditch the doubters, snobs, and ugly voices.
If you don’t, you will find yourself living a life of despair, just going to the motions.
But that’s not for you. And neither are negative people.
