The Inconvenient Truth About Priorities.

Some people say that priorities matter. (That’s true.) That you can’t do it all; so you need to be clear about what you really want to do.

And throw the rest away.

But that’s not true.

You can do it all.

You just can’t do it all today.

You can’t have it all right now.

And that’s tough to admit.

It’s tough to say “NO” when going along with the flow comes naturally.

It’s difficult to do what’s best for your future when you have to live in the “right now”.

(It’s the toughest battle you’ll face today.)

But it’s also the most important.

Because the truth about priorities is that “when” matters more than “what”.

Big goals and dreams take big effort  and lots of time.

If you trade in that effort and time for what you can get right now, your priorities aren’t right.

Maybe it’s time to rethink what you think is a priority.
