Why Wobbly Legs Still Make A Great Leadership Platform.

There’s something to be said for punch-drunk leadership.

We often think of leadership how Hollywood would create a film about it — Alexander the Great standing in front of his armies waving a sword motivating his soldiers with powerful words to follow him into battle.

And while that makes for great movie scenes, it’s seldom how you’ll find yourself needing to show leadership.

Life is a little grittier than that.

Especially when it comes down to making tough choices when you least feel ready to do so.

Great moments in leadership usually happened when you’re too tired just think about inspirational words to say. When you’re too broke to impress with flair.  When you’re too scared to let other people know how insecure you happen to be at the moment.

That’s when great leadership happens. Everyday moments. Where you decide to do what is hard and unpleasant in order to achieve the results no one else around you has the guts to fight for.

So even if you’re wobbly on your feet there’s something powerful about  moving closer to where you want to be.

Be that type of leader.
