Why No One Wants To Be Around You.

Think about where you are right now and all the people who helped to get you there. Think about the time they have spent and the care they have invested in you.

It wasn’t magic or luck. It was a person taking time out of their day to help you reach your potential. To help you follow your dreams.

Their effort wasn’t free. It cost them something. Time. Or money. Usually both.

Instead of doing something for themselves they invested their care and attention in you. And that’s something you should be thankful for.

You should feel grateful. Deeply moved in your soul.

And that should cause you to act differently. To say “Thank You” more often. To take fewer things for granted. To embrace the kindnesses of others and pay them forward by investing in the success of others.

Life is too short to live selfishly.

You’ll get ahead making it all about you all the time. But you won’t stay ahead that way. Life has a way of humbling selfish people.

Frankly, no one will want to be around you when it’s all about you all the time.

Play the long game. Give more than you take.

You’ll find yourself rich in relationships and powerful through the passions of those around you who are rooting you on.

It’s what winners do. They’re thankful.
