The Lie Of Easy Choices.

There is no such thing as making an easy choice. By definition — if it is a choice, it’s hard work. It requires that you consider multiple options. It demands that you make a determination that could impact the rest of your life.

What’s easy about that at all?

The problem is that making the right decision can feel so overwhelming at times that at times we refuse to allow ourselves to engage the challenge with intention and focus.
We just look for what other people have done, instead asking ourselves what’s the right thing for us in this moment. We prolong decisions and procrastinate taking ownership of our lives because it demands attention, time, and personal pain. There are no easy choices.

Easier ones. Just not easy once.

Don’t let that scare you from doing what you know needs to be done. Decide to be amazing.
