One of the things that makes having quality relationships so difficult is that each of us are flawed. And not all in the same ways.

Some days are better than others.

You can have all the pieces of your life together and be determined to treat others with dignity and respect. But when problems come along, it’s all too easy to fall back into negative behaviors that destroy the relationships you have with those around you.

To blame others for what you have going on in your life right now. To look for shortcuts and the easy way out.

Taking time to be a better person isn’t always at the top of the list.

Which is why relationships are so hard. Because life is hard.

And when you’re hurting, it’s easy to push that hurt on to other people. To share it. The force it upon them.

Not because you intentionally wish to do them harm, but because it is all consuming for you at the moment.

Remember that but it feels like all of your relationships are failing. Maybe it’s not in them. Maybe it’s you.

Maybe it’s what you’re going through right now.

You can’t see the goodness in them because what you feel inside you is quite the opposite.
